Cathi hatch biography

Cathi Hatch approaches life with so much energy that one friend calls her a blond Energizer bunny.

She sits on several high-powered boards and has worked as a restaurant-development consultant.

She decorates her Clyde Hill home on holidays, enjoys throwing parties and delights in pulling pranks.

Combine that with enough savvy to run big-league charity events and you've got a million-dollar party. Or in Hatch's case, maybe a $2 million event.

She's the president of Patrons of Northwest Civic, Cultural and Charitable Organizations, better known as Poncho.

The highlight of her yearlong term, the annual Poncho gala and auction to benefit the arts, will be held Saturday at the Seattle Sheraton.

"My goal is $2 million for the year," she said.

"We're going to make it."
